Those countless hours of walking hallways, grandparents filled with anxiety and expectation watching the clock, that last final push, the first little cry of your new baby as he is brought into the world.
As a mother of 4 little ones myself, I know firsthand, how intimate and important a birth is to families…I will capture your labor and delivery and your baby’s first hours in a respectful, quiet way with a “Fly on the Wall”, narrative approach. I will work hard to capture every little detail in both video and photographs so you can forever remember your special day like it was yesterday.
Upon your booking your Birth Story session, I will plug in your number into my personal phone so you may call, text, or email me any time day or night. From then on out, I will be available to you 24/7 to record your labor, delivery, and your baby’s first hour. I am on call for my mamas to be 3 weeks prior and up to 2 weeks after your EDD.
What to Expect?
– Upon the booking of your session, we will schedule a free consultation to go over details of your desired labor and delivery, as well as go over any questions and desires you may have for me.
How soon will you come to my hospital or birth place?
I will come as soon as you call and request. As every labor and delivery is different, some may take 24 hours and other labors could take only 1! I will be at your disposal so you can just concentrate on one thing…getting your baby safely into the world and relaxing :).
Do you attend home births, birth centers, and hospitals?
Yes! Wherever you plan on delivering your baby, I will gladly come capture your special day.
Will you take pictures of my newborn after he or she arrives?
Yes! Upon baby(s) arrival, I will stay for up to 3 hours to capture your new little bundle’s first hours with mom and dad and meet siblings. If you desire to have a newborn session at the hospital or when you arrive home, you may schedule a newborn session with a 20% discount off the newborn session price. I also offer a Belly to Baby package which includes a free mini maternity session in addition to birth story coverage and a newborn session !
